Norma-02 SA is a 16″ (400 mm) semi-automatic double head miter saw with a digital read-out. It has 4 main parts; 2 x 400 mm (16″) carbide tipped saw blades, pneumatic horizontal clamps, digital read-out, pneumatic spray mist lubrication system and an air gun. There are also custom fixtures among optional equipment.

 

 

 

 

Technical Features
  • Patented two-step down speed control system
    The saws’ down speed can be adjusted to the height of the profile to be cut by means of a two-step speed control system. The first step is used to move the cutting heads at high speed towards the profile, and then the speed of the cutting heads is switched to the second step; therefore, the time required to perform and complete the cutting operation is shortened by 50%. 
  • Semi-automatic double head miter saw with carbide tipped circular saw blades designed for straight or miter cut of vinyl, aluminum, and wood
  • The forward movement of the saw is hydro-pneumatic, and its speed can be adjusted accurately according to the material
  • The clamps are pneumatic with safety features
  • The left saw head is fixed in its position, and the right saw head is moved manually to its position
  • The right saw head is equipped with pneumatic brake system, and when the braking key is switched to “OPEN”, the saw head will not work for safety purposes
  • The distance between the saw heads can be adjusted accurately by a digital read-out system
  • The cutting at 0, 15, 22.5, 30 and 45-degree angles is achieved by positive locks, and intermediate angles re accurately set via handle
  • Machine has been designed according to CE, UL and CSA Safety Directives
